Dentists @ Canning Vale is a preferred provider for six major health funds: Bupa Members First Platinum, Medibank Members’ Choice Advantage, HCF More For Teeth, HBF Member Plus, nib First Choice, and CBHS Choice Network. We also accept most private health funds through HICAPS and see eligible patients under government dental programs including the Child Dental Benefits Schedule and DVA arrangements.

As a preferred provider for these funds, Dentists @ Canning Vale has contracted agreed rates for selected dental treatments, which can mean lower out-of-pocket expenses or no-gap preventative check-ups and cleans for eligible members. Eligible Bupa members may access up to two no-gap dental check-ups and cleans per year at our clinic, subject to your policy, waiting periods, annual limits and Bupa fund rules.

Other Accepted Health Funds
We accept all private health funds with extras dental cover through our on-the-spot HICAPS electronic terminal. While these funds do not have a formal preferred provider agreement with our practice, eligible members can still claim their dental rebates instantly at your appointment and pay only the gap.

Medicare Program
Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
An Australian Government program providing capped dental benefits for eligible children aged 0-17 years. Eligibility is assessed by Services Australia. We can see eligible children under this program.
DVA Program
DVA Dental Care
We see eligible Gold Card and White Card holders under DVA arrangements. Covered services may include routine check-ups, cleaning, fillings and other eligible treatments, subject to DVA entitlements.

HICAPS Electronic Claiming
HICAPS lets most private health fund members claim their dental benefit at the clinic at the time of their appointment. Bring your physical health fund card or digital pass and pay only the gap, with no forms and no waiting.

Flexible Dental Payment Options & Plans
Payment plans may let eligible patients spread treatment costs. Confirm current clinic availability, credit approval requirements, fees, interest and repayment terms before applying. Interest-free does not mean fee-free. Early superannuation release is a separate ATO application, not a payment plan, and approval is not guaranteed.

National Dental Plan (NDP)
National Dental Plan uses third-party finance providers including Zip Money and humm. Credit limits, repayment schedules and any interest-free period depend on the product and approval. Fees may apply; unpaid Zip Money purchases may attract interest after the interest-free period. Confirm current clinic options and provider terms before applying.

Fund My Dental offers dental payment plans subject to provider approval. Check current credit limits, fees, repayment frequency and any interest conditions directly with the provider before applying.
Superannuation Access
SuperCare (Early Super Release)
In cases of essential major dental procedures (such as dental implants, crowns, and surgical extractions), you may be eligible to apply for early release of superannuation on compassionate grounds via SuperCare.
